Code of Conduct

1. choice of the user name

When registering, you should enter your first name as your user name in the field provided in order to ensure that other members can address you personally. Member profiles that enter terms in this field that violate the law or have insulting or offensive content will be excluded from registration. Registering with several different member accounts is strictly prohibited.

2. profile pictures

On your profile page you can upload a picture of yourself. If you decide to upload a picture, please adhere to the following rules: The picture must represent yourself and you must be clearly recognizable on it. Nude photos and pornographic motifs or images of physical or sexual violence are strictly prohibited. Also not allowed are racist, inhuman, insulting and immoral images as well as the use of advertising or logos. 

3. self-portrayal

Only present yourself in a way that corresponds to reality. Content in profiles and messages must not create expectations in your counterpart that you cannot meet in a personal meeting. Profiles that reflect an identity other than the actual identity of the user will be deleted without warning at the first violation.

4. message style

As my message, so am I. Especially in dating, your personal messaging style plays a crucial role. Think about what impression your words leave. Your personal writing style reveals a lot about you, so consider:

1. take your time when composing your messages, so that your lines meet your requirements.

2. do not write mass messages, but respond to your counterpart individually

3. pay attention to spelling and upper/lower case and avoid too many smileys

4. note that the use of vulgar or obscene phrases is strictly prohibited.

5. conversational tone

The net often seems anonymous. However, do not forget that your addressee is a human being. The apparent distance is not an excuse to hurt the feelings of other users and be unfriendly or short. Do not get carried away with verbal outbursts, but treat other users as you would like to be treated. 6.

Be careful with humor and sarcasm. Be sure to label your remarks in a way that does not provoke misunderstanding. Remember that in a written message, none of the facial expressions or gestures are visible to your counterpart that you would use to avoid misunderstandings in face-to-face conversations.

Don't be hasty. When messaging contact develops promisingly, many users tend to quickly exchange intimacies. Ask yourself if you would be as open about it if you were sitting across from each other.

8. give a rejection

Write polite refusals if you have no further interest in contact with another user. A short message is enough so that your counterpart does not wait for days in vain for a reply.

9. receive a rejection

In return, be considerate if a recipient has told you that he does not want any further messages. Do not bother him with repeated sending.

10. bid for confidentiality

Messages are to be treated confidentially by the user. They may only be made accessible to third parties with the express consent of the sender. Also not tolerated are verbal attacks on other users, the naming or documentation of private details from the lives of other users, unless the user expressly agrees to this.

11. real-/ cyber-/ cam-/ phone sex requests or similar are strictly prohibited.

12. offensive publications

Violent, racist, politically extremist, sexist, discriminatory, vulgar or other offensive publications as well as publications that insult, slander, threaten or verbally disparage other persons, ethnic groups or religious confessions are not allowed.

13. report intrusive users

Nevertheless, there may be cases where objectionable content was not immediately detected. Please help us to ensure the quality of Amore18 by reporting dubious members who violate this Netiquette or the Terms and Conditions of our website. Abuse of the "report" function will result in the suspension of the Amore18 account.

Punishment of violations

All content generated by members will be reviewed as necessary and violations of the Netiquette and Terms and Conditions will be punished accordingly. 

Violations of the Netiquette or the Terms and Conditions will result in a warning or, at the discretion of the Operator, also in immediate deletion of the profile and may result in further legal action.
